Diesel Fuel Filtration Field Trial – PT Tsar International
The challenge
A diesel fuel trial was conducted for PT Tsar International, Delta-Xero’s authorised partner and distributor in Indonesia to improve diesel quality in-situ: filtration unit directly fixed to the truck tank. Initial particle count measurements showed the diesel fuel was heavily contaminated, exceeding ISO 4406 cleanliness limits for clean diesel fuel.
Customer savings & impact
Following continuous Delta-Xero diesel fuel filtration, monitored over multiple operating hours, the trial demonstrated:
Fuel cleanliness improved from ISO 19/18/17 to ISO 13/12/7, classifying the diesel as extremely clean
Contaminants above 25 microns reduced to zero, even after repeated refuelling events
Lower risk of injector damage, fuel system wear, and unplanned downtime, supporting longer equipment life and reduced maintenance costs
The full case study shows how fuel cleanliness fluctuated during operation, how quickly contamination was recovered after refuelling, and what this means for real-world diesel reliability.
