Portico Crane Case Study

The client was facing operational risks due to diesel contamination in its cranes’ fuel tanks, while also mindful of the environmental impact of the fuel’s exhaust emissions. This presented an opportunity to test a new application of our fluid conditioning equipment, trialling whether its use on a diesel tank would reduce the level of gases in the exhaust emissions. A number of carefully controlled, externally supported, tests were undertaken, finding that installation of Delta Xero equipment reduced contamination levels in the diesel and delivered reduced emissions.
